About Paramount

Established in 1946 with the purpose of facilitating social interaction and friendship among tall men and women, The Paramount Tall Club is one of the founding members of the American Affiliation of Tall Club (now Tall Clubs International). We are proud of our tall heritage. Most events are open to the public.

Paramount Tall Club of Chicago (PTC) awards one $750 scholarship to a graduating high school senior who lives in the Chicagoland area and meets the height requirements of the club annually. The recipient of the PTC local scholarship will be nominated by PTC to be considered by Tall Clubs International (TCI) for its $1000 Kae Sumner Einfeldt and Virginia Linquist Winker scholarships. Applications are due in early February, and final awards are made in conjunction with the TCI annual convention the first week of July. See our scholarship page for additional information.
