Above: Members virtually toast Tall Club International founder, Kae Sumner Einfeldt. In this annual tradition, members recognize Kae’s contribution to tall society and have a little fun.
The Paramount Tall Club was established in 1946 with the purpose of facilitating social interaction and friendship among tall men and women. As one of the founding members of the American Affiliation of Tall Club, which later became Tall Clubs International, we are proud of our tall heritage. Paramount merged with the Tall Girls’ Club of Chicago in 1963, and has been promoting fun activities ever since.
Most events are open to the public.
Business meetings are on the second Monday of every month at 7:30 pm, but most members arrive by 7:00 pm to socialize. We meet the second Monday of every month at Manny’s Ale House, 638 W. St. Charles Rd., Elmhurst, IL (630)617-8700. Meetings have gone virtual during COVID-19 shutdowns, but we hope to be meeting in person again soon.
Many of the Tall Clubs in various cities across North America host a big, fun three (or four) day annual party known as their “Weekend“. This is a great way to meet tall people from all around the world, and it’s a great way to get a special tour of other cities by the locals. Other chapters host national or international “Conventions” or local “Gatherings” Paramount’s annual weekend is always in late January. Click on the links to see what other chapters are hosting.
